what’s a girl to do for a shoe

This is the story of the Charles Jourdan Paris Patent Leather Platform Pump in Nude.
There I was freshly manicured and pedicured and eyebrows straight off the wax and decided to take a taxi to my favorite store…Loehmanns.
I wasn’t planning on buying anything when I came across these beauties below.
They had one size 10 and ofcourse it had an irregularity. A huge red scuff mark on the toe.
So I asked the lady in the shoe department if they have anymore and she tells me the nearest Loehmanns also has one 10 left.
I hop on the the train and rush over to the next Loehmanns.
I find the box. I open it…and LO AND BEHOLD. This shoe has the same damn red scuff mark!
UGH. I decided to squeeze into the 9.5,  hell its patent leather…it will stretch right???

Arent they lovely?
They are my New Years present to myself.
teehee.

Scuff marks are easily removable on patent leather. All it takes is a cotton ball and some alcohol. Here’s what a girl’s to do: Go back and get the 10! You’ll thank me later 🙂

I am pretty sure you can remove scuff marks with a cotton swab dabbed in rubbing alcohol. I am pretty sure I did that once, but double check that (google) and wait until they get mega scuffed!! 🙂
