Jungle Beauty in Southlands, Bermuda

The first week of July felt like an entire month to me, probably because I was in Bermuda for 3 days, came back to New York and worked for 3 days. In the middle of those three days was July 4th and although I worked that day, I went home, changed and went to a party at Brooklyn Mirage that kept me out until midnight. That party was amazing by the way. I then hopped an early 6am bus to Maryland on Friday to go to my friend Jen’s wedding, which was incredible. Ladies and gentlemen, I am exhausted but this past week has me so full.

[one_half padding=”0 15px 0 0″]I had such an amazing time in Bermuda and one of my favorite more quiet moments was shooting here at Southlands with their amazing and almost out of this world tangle of Bayan Trees and forest. Shout out to my Bermudian photographer and friend Langré who brought us to this unique place. Alicia and I were in complete awe of just how surreal it was. It was like being in an alternative universe in Avatar. It was so completely beautiful and untouched. I saw the tiniest transparent mushrooms that seemed to glow growing on a fallen log. With a little coaxing from Langré, I even took of my shoes and walked barefoot through the forest. It was definitely one of the most memorial moments of my trip to Bermuda. I am definitely going to make Bermuda one of my every other year trips the same as Paris because I love it so much.[/one_half][one_half_last padding=”0 0 0 15px”]There’s still so much I haven’t done or seen on this magical island. If you’re interested in visiting Bermuda which is barely an hour plane ride from New York City and lies just off the coast of North Carolina then check out my Guide to Bermuda. If you follow me on Instagram more specifically IGTV you saw my packing for Bermuda Trip Video and this amazing skirt that I picked up from the 70% Off Mango Sale. I am so in love with it and it turned out to be perfect for this setting. I am a size medium and got this skirt in an XS and it fits perfectly. Hurry they still have a few left for $39. I actually can’t wait to go back to Bermuda next year, probably for carnival or cup match next time since those seem to be very popular times to visit.I also want to get a chance to check out the caves which is one thing I haven’t done yet and take a plane ride around the island.[/one_half_last]

I have never been to Bermuda, always wanted to visit. Your post (such detail) makes me want to visit. Your photos and outfit (per usual) are so dope!
Btw, I booked a trip to Tulum and will be visiting this coming weekend. Can’t wait to immerse myself in the culture.
