A few weeks ago I was invited to be the featured guest at New York Coffee Talk, a series started by Vanessa of Vana Vain that aims to bring together like minded creatives to meet, sip, network and build. It’s a great event to get to know other creative people and just have a great time.

I had a wonderful time meeting everyone, some of whom I’d followed for months on social media. Everyone had an inspiring story and tips for making it as a creative person. Everyone brought their own personal knowledge to the table and was eager to share and connect. It was great hearing everyone’s story. I’m very humbled and thankful for Vanessa. She is so creative and her fashion sense is real and raw and authentic. She is a wonderful spirit and I love her drive. Make sure to keep up with the #NEWYORKCOFFEETALK hashtag for her next event in NYC this summer. She also hosts the series regularly in Boston and when she travels to different cities.It’s really nice to be recognized by someone I admire in this blogeshere. It’s easy to get caught up in competition but there is enough cake for us all to eat and flourish. Make sure to check out some of these amazing women too!
