Fringe isn’t going anywhere

It’s Holiday time and I finally finished my Holiday Shopping! I’ve got gifts for my guy and everyone else without barely leaving my home. I did make my way down to MiN New York (a place every modern man in NYC should know about), to pick up a few items in store (i needed to smell them first, y’all know I’m obsessed with smells). By the way they are having an awesome 20% off of just about everything with Code: ARTOFGIFTING. I also swung by & Other Stories to pick up a new holiday scent for myself and these Nike Air Max Thea’s in Mole that I have been coveting for about a month. I’m so excited about these 3×1 fringe jeans which are so fun and just quirky enough for the holidays and holiday parties dressed up with a mule or bootie. I first saw them on a girl during New York Fashion Week and had to have them, although I’m sure they are quite easy to DIY as well.

I’ve realized that I don’t have many sweaters, at least not classic ones like this beauty from Timberland. It’s super warm too and perfect for a day on Brooklyn’s Shore in Dumbo. I love this area in Brooklyn. It’s very quaint and architecturally stunning. I would love to live in a sparkling bare apartment with views of the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridge. A girl can hope right?!? There’s also a fabulous restaurant/coffee shop called One Girl Cookie that has the most succulent snacks and biscuits complete with jams and hot chocolate with large marshmallows. Fringe has become kind of an obsession for me. I love fringe on my sweaters, on my feet and now on my jeans.

I am also wearing my new favorite watch from Shore Projects. I’ve gotten so into watches lately and this one is sleek and beautiful. What I love about this watch is it’s like 3 watches in 1, it comes with 3 different bands (you choose the face and the bands). I went with a supple and sleek black leather band, a green classic band and a classy silver mesh band. The bands are easily interchangeable too and you can do it yourself really easily. I am hooked and it makes a perfect holiday gift as well! I am turning into a modern lover. I’ve always loved minimalism but it’s always been hard for me to pull off that look but I’m slowly getting there. I’m thinking of re-decorating my apartment and I’m pretty excited about it. Mostly, I just can’t wait to let go of all this excess and dial it down to modern and minimalist basics with touches of natural elements. I hope everyone is having a fabulous week and that you’re almost done with your Holiday Shopping and have plenty of Holiday Outfit Ideas!
