Sometimes I indulge in themed dressing or an actual ensemble if you will. Most of the time these looks are inspired by places, runway shows, photos in magazines that I’ve seen or holidays. In this case I was thinking all things Mexican and what better holiday than Cinco De Mayo.

I built this outfit around this stunning vintage embroidered skirt that I picked up last year at Stella Vintage. I went on a shopping binge just before fashion week and got this skirt along with this one that I wore during Milan Fashion Week. The pattern on this skirt definitely reminded me of all things Mexican. I got this awesome top from Ekineyo in both black and white and they are sure to carry me through the summer. I love Mexico. Playa Del Carmen is my favorite vacation place on earth next to Vernazza, Italy and Giverny in France. I’ve had the best coffee of my life in a little outdoor cafe in Mexico and gotten my favorite ring there as well. I’m going back in October for a destination wedding and I can’t wait! I’m loving this pearl necklace from Juliet and Co that will be available soon on Shopbop.com.
How was your Cinco De Mayo?
