Yesterday, I went to brunch with my fashion bud Nigel at Streetbird NYC, the new Harlem restaurant by Marcus Samuelsson. He’s heavily known for being a judge on The Taste,Chopped and Top Chef. He also opened the Harlem staple Red Rooster.

GET THE LOOK
I love the decor at Streetbird NYC its nostalgic and whimsical. Booth seats are made from Adidas and Louis Vuitton fabric. Art and pop culture of early hip hop is a heavy influence. There are lamps made of drum sets and tables made of old video games. The food is a mosh of a lot of different things. The mac and cheese and streetbird fries were my favorite. I love that Harlem is on the come up with so many good restaurants on the same street I live on! Can’t wait to have plenty a brunch here!

Monroe
I always make it a point to go to Harlem to have a least one meal when I’m in NY. This is on my list.
Love this look Monroe! So cool
Your ensemble is dope! I love the shoes! I will be trying out Streetbird the next time I am in Harlem!
