think pink

So I obsessed over this pink neoprene skirt from ASOS till if finally sold out. I was devastated. For one, I didn’t buy it because it is pink (a don’t do color for me). I don’t know when I started hating the color pink but i just never thought it complimented my skin tone. It wasn’t until I fell in love with this vintage ungaro skirt that I gave pink a chance.

GET THE LOOK

After the skirt sold out, I would check back at ASOS periodically to see if it had restocked. Late one night during my usually internet basket hoarding, there it was in a size 12. I am a size 6 mind you but I couldn’t pass it up. I ordered the 12 and promptly took it to my tailor and he fit it to my body perfectly. I first wore this skirt during Paris Fashion Week. It was a huge hit. It’s definitely a statement skirt and meant to be worn where people will see it. Speaking of fashion week, it starts next week and my schedule is jam packed!
