I must admit I had no idea who Emanuel Ungaro was until I came across this vintage skirt on Ebay last summer. I had been eyeing it for a while and knew I needed something of this magnitude for my first foray into Paris Fashion Week. Although Ungaro sold his company in 2005, he is well known for eye popping patterns and colors.

This skirt is definitely one of my most prized possessions in my ever growing wardrobe. Speaking of which make sure to check out my closet…im selling tons of awesome stuff. I’ve also found that I’ve been collecting a bunch of basic tops such as this boned cupped bustier-type top from American Apparel. They really are the best for well made basic tees, tanks, and leotards. This skirt was a hit when I last wore it in Paris, so i’m finally taking it for a spin in New York. I’ve realized that I’m a total skirt girl. I love a good skirt! I’d rather be in a skirt than in jeans or shorts any day which works well because its currently 5 degrees away from Hell temperature wise. Thank goodness all the public NYC pools have opened and I have a place of reprieve not too far from my apartment.
Have a lovely work week Darlings…

Too cute. Great combination.
By opting to keep it minimalistic, allowing the skirt and those Delicious heels make the Statement! Beautiful, Sexy and Cool! Good Job!
