Oui to Quality Denim and Pants under $100

[one_half padding=”0 15px 0 0″]Pants come in all colors, shapes, sizes and prices. I like to keep that price tag well under $100 but the way quality denim is set up the prices are astronomical. I set out one day to find the perfect pair of black highwaisted vintage Levi’s, magically found them and even they were $100. I was definitely taken aback by the price being they were vintage but I guess that’s the trend now. Some of my favorite denim brands are Rachel Comey and DL1961 and most of those jeans clock in well above $300. I was able to get this pair of Rachel Comey Jeans that I wear religiously (see them worn here) because of a store brand partnership. These awesome white culottes I wore recently were a Steele from the Rachel Comey Sample Sale.[/one_half][one_half_last padding=”0 0 0 15px”]The same goes for these DL1961 distressed hem jeans that I love, but come in at $200 (see them worn here).  Without a brand partnership, I don’t think I could ever bring myself to pay so much for a pair of jeans. I’m not sure when denim became so costly but I understand how brands can get away with charging so much. Denim is life. A pair of great denim jeans or even well tailored pants will last you for years. You will definitely get close to cost per wear over a lifetime too. I’ve tried all denim; Zara Denim, H&M Denim and Urban Outfitters Denim and although they are super trendy, they rarely ever last. I got tired of buying jeans and pants that shrunk with one wash and set out to find the best quality denim and pants.[/one_half_last]

& Other Stories opened it’s first brick and mortar shop in Soho in 2014, I popped in and have become a regular shopper because of the amazing quality and generous stock. They have 3 ateliers; Paris, Stockholm an LA. Personally I love everything from the Paris Atelier especially my mom jeans (coming in at $85) and these luxurious body products that smell like heaven. What can I say, I’m a francophile. These corduroy pants that I bought last Fall are still going strong and I wear them at least 3 times monthly during the Fall and Winter months (see them worn here and here). They are so well tailored and fit like a dream. Then there’s my all time favorite mom jeans (I bought 2 pair. I had to they are so good if I ever ruined one pair and didn’t have a backup, I’d be devastated). What I love is how heavy and superior quality the denim is and also the high waisted shape that still leaves room for my hips and butt. I then invested in my 4th pair of high waist wide legged denim jeans from & Other Stories. They look super vintage and cost less than those actual vintage Levi’s.

So when I tell you that & Other Stories is having a 25% Off One Item Sale until April 24th CODE: TAKE25OFF, know I’m telling you out of love and urging you to indulge yourself in quality. They also have amazing perfumes and body products, accessories, trendy footwear and chic dainty jewelry. Oh and you can shop consciously (Happy Belated Earth Day) because they have a recycling program to reduce their fashion carbon footprint. You can recycle beauty bottling for a 10% discount towards your purchase as well as bring in any used/old textiles & clothing from any brand for a 10% discount towards your purchase.

Thanks Kristie! No 21 makes really cool shoes. They are a little pricy but you can always find a deal on Farfetch during the sales.
