The Perfect Wool Coat

IMG_9501

Well its winter and I might as well invest in a good warm and fashionable wool coat. This one here is courtesy of Dezzal.com which has pretty amazing outerwear for nearly nothing. I also got this red leather jacket from them as well. I might just make it through Winter looking halfway decent thanks to Dezzal coming through with the outerwear. In addition to finally getting some fashionable winter leather and wool coats, I also grew 24 inches of hair. My scalp and the brutally cold New York Winter air do not get along. This time I opted for some faux locks done my my hair stylist Amaany at Morkinks.com (use Code: MorkinksH17 for 20% Off Your Next Hair Style until Jan 31, 2017).  I love them and they keep my head and neck warm! I won’t release the afro again until next summer so stayed tuned for the next few months to check out all my different protective hair styles.

I feel like this is the first real week of winter. It’s actually cold and I really had to think hard to put this look together. You all know I’m to about that Winter life, but I finally feel like I have enough of a a winter wardrobe to make it through without dying. I’m busy planning my trip to Cuba which is a little over a month away and knee deep in buying summer and beach accessories from all the end of season sales. Buying these green suede pumps for $25 was the single best thing I did last year at the Derek Lam Sample Sale. I’ve worn the hell out of them and I love the retro shape. They go with just about everything and green is my favorite color!

Any who…I have nothing to talk about. Is it January yet?!?
