Twist front crop top + Denim Skirt

IMG_0543

It’s a week until the busiest month ever for me, September. I’m so grateful for a 4 day weekend during Labor Day, that I don’t know what to do with myself. I have been working like a mad woman the past 2 months. It’s the busiest months for my Physical Therapy practice. A little rest and relaxation are on the menu. I’m also excited that my good friend Jen of Comme Coco is coming to visit Labor Day Weekend and we will be getting into all kinds of shenanigans and debauchery, in my attempt to find a husband. LOL. Just kidding, we plan on doing a lot of blogger type photo shoots and partying. In my quest to find the least amount of clothing possible for the the long holiday weekend, I went on a shopping spree at the sale section of Naked Wardrobe. This is where I found this amazing twist from crop top and proceeded to buy it in every color.

GET THE LOOK

So in addition to the full filled Labor Day Weekend I have planned with my BFF, I also have New York Fashion Week and later in September, Paris Fashion Week. I initially wasn’t going to do any NYFW coverage because it has really kind of lost it’s zest for me over the last 2 years but I’ve had a change of heart. I’m awaiting some news about possible backstage coverage and that interests me a lot more than haggling to front row for a good photo or snap video. I can be up close and personal to the clothing, without the personal commentary of who ever I’m seated next to during the actual show. I can look at the vision boards of the designer, touch the fabric, see the makeup and nail looks up close and even get a quick designer interview. The possibility of backstage access during the SS2017 shows of NYFW is what turned it around for me. I’m actually really excited again to cover New York Fashion Week. Now, I just have to get my looks together and Lord knows splitting looks between New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week will cause me a massive amount of stress. Fun, fashion stress of course!

Paris is my favorite city and I’m stoked to be going to PFW this year with Jen of Comme Coco and Kela Walker of Kela’s Kloset. We are going to have all kinds of delicious fun! I plan to do about 5 shows and a few show room visits during PFW. The main goal is just to enjoy myself and of course get a meal at Chez Prune, my favorite canal side restaurant in Paris. I actually crave the food there, it’s that serious. I usually stay in an Airbnb in the 10th Arrondissment, while in Paris but this year I’m collaborating with a few hotels to cover my stay and I couldn’t be more grateful. This will be my last post this week because starting tomorrow, my favorite girl is celebrating before getting married! Didn’t I tell you all my friends are getting married? lol. This weekend is going to be one for the books.

xx

Loving this outfit. I just found a midi-length denim skirt at the thrift myself. They are definitely a wardrobe staple. Have fun next month! I look forward to your fashion week blog posts.

Hi, first time commenting but a long time fan of yours. I love this look and I wanted to know if you work out or is it just good genes. I love your style so much and you recently propelled me to get the N21 twisted mules and I’m in love with them. Thank you!

YAS Nenette! Thank you so much for your readership and for commenting! I appreciate it so so much. It’s mainly just good genes. My day job is pretty physical though, I am a physical therapist so I do a lot of lifting, stretching, moving, massaging so I’m sure that has a lot to do with it. YAS to those No 21 mules, they are amazing. Enjoy.
