For the past few months, I had an ongoing partnership with Shopbop that has since come to an end. But Shopbop has also been a go-to online destination for splurges, especially when they have a good sale. I can easily spend all my coins because they stock nearly every designer that I covet. One such designer is Rachel Comey, who I only discovered last year, when I wanted her denim trumpet pencil skirt so bad I could taste it but by then it’d sold out everywhere. I really hate when that happens. Shopper’s remorse is hella real, so when you fall in love with something scoop it up and hold on to it for dear life, because fashion comes and goes, but some things are only made for a season. (Alexander Wang Simona’s I’m talking about you!) I’d wanted a lux pair of denim and these Rachel Comey jeans fit the bill. They are the most perfect and comfortable jean and I know because I wear them nonstop. They are high waisted and just short enough to show off my favorite pair of Proenza Schouler mules.

GET INTO WIDE LEG DENIM
I’m so excited for the weekend as I have been super exhausted fighting with postal workers. Some how my Boohoo package containing barely there dresses and swimsuits for my trip to Miami next month, was sent back to the company without ever being delivered. Good news is, it’s being resent. I’ve never has an issue with Boohoo shipping and fully know it was the temp mail mans fault. My regular mail man and I have a beautiful relationship where he brings me my packages first and complains that I shop too much. Also Boohoo is having a 50% off all dress sale RIGHT NOW, or at lesast for the next 4 hours so stock up on those summer dresses while you still can for less the $15 a pop! It’s been an emotionally draining week and I am so ready to get my pedicure tomorrow that I can’t wait to go to sleep, just so it can be tomorrow. I’m also doing one of my favorite things tomorrow which is my every other month visit to the luxury consignment shops! (I’ll be snapping along the way so follow my @MonroeSteele). I am planning for an epic shoot in Miami in 2 weeks and need more options. I’m lusting after Stella Jean pops of color and also tulip and wrap skirts. Anywho, my apologies again for posting wearing these jeans, as well as this leotard. I’ve practically been living in these two pieces since I got them.
