New York Fashion Week is officially over and fashion week has moved on to London, Milan and Paris, but that doesn’t mean you have to wait until next year to shop the trends. You can shop whats going to be “IN” next Spring and Summer right now! Bell sleeves and bell bottoms were all over the runway this season, along with tons of fringe. All of these trends can be found right now, so why wait!
TOME was all about bell sleeves, and intricate designs when it came to tops. Mara Hoffmann as well as Zimmermann delved into off the shoulder tops. This season it was more about the little intricacies that made shirts, tops and blouses a little more stand out. When it came to pants this season it was all about wide leg and bell bottoms (THE WIDER THE BETTER!). It’s also nice to know that beautiful and well made flats are still in for next Spring and Summer, comfort once again prevails for another season. There was also more fringe than I’ve ever seen before on the runways from Dion Lee to Proenza Schouler. It was all about the little details like undone hems, pom pom accents and bows. Check out some of these unique trends I’m ready to add to my wardrobe.
THE UNIQUE TOP WITH INTRICATE DETAILING
I am personally loving this trend as I hate plain tops. I love a great shirt with a little extra something. I actually really need to add more tops to my wardrobe.
THE WIDE LEG PANT/ BELL BOTTOM PANT
I am insanely in love with the Ellery flares, and as soon as they go on sale, they will be in my closet.
FRINGE FRINGE and guess what MORE FRINGE
I’ve already immersed myself in fringe with a number of skirts, hats and shoes. I think I’m gonna sit this one out…but nonetheless I love this trend.
