easy like sunday morning

Sundays are usually a time for me to relax, reflect and regroup for the week ahead. I love to make a pot of Hazelnut coffee, open all my windows, sit and just be still. Then of course being the type A person I am, I get to work, mainly editing photos and preparing blog posts for the upcoming week. Sundays are my favorites because Saturdays are for friends, parties and mingling and Sundays are just for me.

Besides working on blog posts and drinking copious amounts of coffee I also like to catch up on my magazines on Sundays. I get some of my outfit ideas and inspiration from the editorials. I’m really addicted to ELLE and Marie Claire Magazine simply because they are both sooooo good at balancing fashion and real life, articles and need to know information for young professional women. I actually read the articles cover to cover in both magazines. I like to learn, not just stare at pretty pictures and I think these two magazines really get it right when it comes down to that delicate balancing act.

ooh la la…did you check out my new tattoo? As you may or may not know, I am a full fledge francophile. I visited Paris for the first time last September and stayed for nearly a month! It was amazing and I fell more in love with Paris and Parisienne life. So much so that I am going back again in September for Paris Fashion Week, along with Italy (Milan and Cinque Terre). I’m so excited I can barely contain myself! This little tattoo pays homage to my obsession with Paris and also the way I feel about myself, my heart, my body and my mind at this point in my life. It may seem funny and quirky and even  a bit vain…but i love it.
