I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect bright, flower print sundress ever since I saw Carrie Bradshaw in an episode of Sex and the City, stroll down a street in the West Village in one. I found it two summers ago at Goodwill and it sold (off the mannequin) before I had a chance to get to the store. I still dream about that damn dress! Anywho, while perusing the racks at Hamlet’s Vintage a few weeks ago I came across this dress. The perfect vintage sundress!

I love the look and feel of this dress. It’s real vintage and I know because it only has one pocket! That’s the beauty of vintage, or homemade items…the little quirks and surprises that make it one of a kind. The length of this dress is perfect for me as well. I’m really into vintage dresses for some reason. Etsy also has a wonderful selection of vintage dresses as well. I haven’t been this into dresses since my vintage and thrifting shopping adventure in Paris. Speaking of vacations…i’m looking forward to making my way to Italy this year and this dress will be making the trip with me!
