WE LAUNCHED A CLOTHING LINE!!!!

It’s finally here! I’ve been keeping this collaborative collection between Sonjia Williams and myself under wraps for 6 months! I’ve always dreamt of having a fashion line but had no clue how to go about that but I’ve been a huge fan of Sonjia and her line Something By Sonjia for years and knew I had to reach out to her. It all started with a DM in May 2020 right in the middle of the worst time of the pandemic in New York City and at the height of the Black Lives Matter Movement. Thankfully, Sonjia was on board and our 6 piece collection began to take form over countless phone calls, FaceTimes and mailing fabrics from Los Angeles where Sonjia resides to New York City where I reside. We are extremely proud of this collection and we hope you all love it. The collection is available for Pre-Order on the Something By Sonjia website. THE MONROE PAPERBAG PANT

The Monroe Paperbag Pant was the first piece in the collection. The Camouflage print represents the fight Black people were in and continue to be in during the height of the pandemic lockdowns in New York City and the resurgence of Black Lives Matter following the deaths of countless Black people at the hands of police officers. This pant comes with an elastic waist for stretch and to easily create the drama of the paperbag waist. This pant comes with a military style thick black cargo belt with D ring to really cinch in the waist and tie the look together. There are two tones of camouflage print featured in these dramatic pants. The pockets are comprised of a different tone of camouflage and this pant features 6 pockets total. There are side pockets on the legs as well as pockets in the back to carry all the tools you need to fight through the day. Dress them up with a high heel or Fall boot or dress them down with a pair of your favorite sneakers or combat boots. (Size XS – 3XL. Dry Clean Only.)

THE AMELIA TURTLENECK

The Amelia turtleneck is a relaxed ribbed turtleneck in a super soft knit stretch fabric. It features these stunning exposed seams that give the hems a wavy appearance. It’s super soft and lush and feels amazing against the skin. Mint is one of thee hottest colors of the season and we tapped into that for this collection. The long bell like sleeves are featured throughout this collection to add a touch of femininity and comfort for those chilly Fall and Winter days. This turtleneck pairs well with The Monroe Pant as seen here as well as with The Steele Reversible Paperbag Skirt from this collection. (Size XS – XL Machine Wash Cold, Hang Dry.)

THE HARLEM DRESS

This dress is everything I love in one garment. The fabric is a thick ribbed knit that is soft yet very sturdy. There’s mild stretch and it really snatches your figure in all the right places. This dress is extremely warm which makes it perfect for Fall & Winter. The super long sleeves are dainty and feminine but I love that the hands are free with the deep slit of the sleeves at each wrist. This stunning champagne cream color is perfect for Fall. Pair it with a long trench coat and a tall boot for Fall & Winter. The exposed seams are really what sets this dress a part and makes it unique. A lovely slit in the front of the dress allows you to walk gracefully in high heels or even in a cool combat boot. Oh and let’s not forget the matching cream utility cargo belt with D ring to really accentuate your waist and toughen up the look. The Monroe Dress can be worn with or without the belt. THE STEELE REVERSIBLE PAPERBAG SKIRT

This is the skirt of dreams! This is essentially a 2-in-1 skirt being that it is completely reversible. This stunning sage green midi skirt is the IT COLOR this Fall & Winter. It’s sophisticated with a little drama and edge. This skirt is one piece of fabric with belt loops on both sides and can be worn a number of ways. The inside of the skirt is a cream corduroy fabric and the outside is a slightly stiffer sage green fabric. The matching sage green belt pairs perfectly with both sides of the skirt and enables you to synch in the waist and wear the skirt a number of ways. The corduroy side of the skirt features a stunning sage green pocket great for storage and to add a utility feel to this aspect of the skirt. You can wear the paperbag aspect of the skirt up or down or create beautiful shapes with it to your liking. The waist is meant to be cinched in as tight as possible with the belt to add more drama to the share of this amazing tulip style skirt. Pair is with a knee high boot for Fall or even a classic pump for a chic and sophisticated look. (Size Small – 3XL. Dry Clean Only.)

THE SONJIA SET

This stunning set is perfect for a Fall outing or for a Netflix and Chill session in your home and looking cute for the gram. It’s a luxe ribbed set with stretch featuring an extra long sleeved top and high waisted legging with an elastic waist. The deep Merlot color of the set is perfect for Fall & Winter. The top features a paneled hem front and back for a unique design and more coverage for your bum. This top also works well with several other pieces from our collection including the Monroe Paperbag Pant and the Steele Reversible Paperbag Skirt. The fabric is super cozy and has a good amount of stretch. It feels comfy to lounge in or to dress up with a heel or even a combat boot. This collection is a limited exclusive collection. We are accepting a limited number of pre-orders that will be shipped within 3 weeks time. Once pre-orders have ended what ever we have left will be up for grabs. Once everything is sold out, it won’t be made again (at least not in these exact fabrics/colors).
