A Night At The James New York Hotel with HotelTonight

Yall, after fashion week, I was completely destroyed. You may not know this about me but I’m actually a bit of an introvert. I absolutely love being alone and having my me time. I actually wrote about being an introverted extrovert here. Yes, I’m very outgoing and bubbly and love to be the life of the party but ya girl has a finite amount of time she can be around a lot of people before she needs to retreat. I also made sure to tell my girls this on our trip to Tulum and they didn’t mind when I’d sneak away to hang out by myself in my room at night LOL. New York Fashion Week was nonstop and thank goodness this collaboration with HotelTonight came along at the perfect time. I had the opportunity to work with them to highlight their Daily Drop which has amazing rooms all over the world for up to 30% off on top of their already amazing prices. I needed a staycation pronto after New York Fashion Week and chose The James New York Soho Hotel.

After staying at The James Soho it’s the only place I will stay during New York Fashion Week. It is literally one block away from Spring Studios where all the fashion shows take place. It’s right in the heart of Soho, close to shopping and some of my favorite restaurants. What I loved most about the hotel was the large rooms! New York City is known for having tiny hotel rooms that you can barely fit your luggage in but not The James.

I was in room 903, a corner room with stunning views of downtown New York City. I could see all the way to One World Trade Center and to the Hudson River. The bed is luxurious and comfortable. I also couldn’t get over how huge the bathroom was. There was amble closet space and even an area for me to do work. Not that I did any. I’d book again for the stunning views alone. If you can request a corner unit.

Another thing I loved about The James Soho is that I didn’t need to leave the hotel to have an amazing time. Rose and I made out way to the rooftop pool for a drink, a dip and more stunning views. After that we changed and went back to hang out at the rooftop bar, Jimmys. The DJ played all my favorite afro-beats and the pineapple mojito I had was delicious and strong. I had two and danced the night away. They also have an amazing bar downstairs, The Jungle Room Gitano which is a whole vibe and perfect for a low key date. Speaking of food, I had a lovely breakfast in bed the morning of my departure. I even spent some time catching up on some of my favorite guilty pleasure TV. I felt completely relaxed and rejuvenated after my stay at The James Soho Hotel thanks to HotelTonight. So if you’re looking for a bomb place to stay during New York Fashion Week or even just a place to unwind for a staycation be sure to check them out.

Thanks for info. Totally agree with investing in healthy food, great luggage and top of the line bedding. I checked out the James hotel, my birthday is in December. It’s quite expensive, gonna see if husband would take me for the weekend. Thanks for sharing I enjoy everything.
