I wanted this post to be all about transitioning from Winter Clothing into Spring but this New York City weather wont let me be great. One day it’s 75 degrees the next there is a foot of snow on the ground. Thus I only took out a few of my Spring and Summer pieces that’d work well with Winter Gear. Currently if you’re in the Northeast you can pull out your maxi dresses, denim skirts and possibly a pair of heavy culottes. It’s easy to layer maxi dresses over turtlenecks and sleek long sleeve t-shirts. Denim skirts are denim so they are still warm but a knee high or thigh high boot can give you a little more coverage. If you have a heavy culotte it can still work for cold weather with a great boot (showing a sliver of ankle or cool socks). Then layer those pieces with outerwear. I’m currently loving neutral tone trench coats in browns, greens and grey.

Fabulous look!
Honestly, I haven’t even tried yet … it has been sooo cold here! Hopefully, spring rears her pretty head very soon. I’ll even take my insane allergies at this point.
