I spent most of the day re-discovering Paris in this ultra fashionable and comfortable bomber jacket from Tibi, and slip dress from Camilla and Marc. They are a little rented gift from none other than Rent The Runway. The mornings in Paris are quite chilly then warm up later and this jacket was perfect for the weather and for walking around Paris. I’ve spent a total of a month in a half in Paris over the last 3 year, since I first visited in 2013. It continues to be one of my favorite cities, and I know it so well now I barely need a map or google directions.

When I walked around my old neighborhood in Canal St. Martin, it felt almost nostalgic like, I was home. This little neighborhood was my first introduction to Paris when I visited alone for 2 weeks in 2013. I know every corner, every cafe, every boulangerie that sells my favorite frazier (strawberry short cake) and even the exact hours, my favorite restaurant Chez Prune, serves hot food (only 4 hours daily). I walked along the Canal today, stopping to visit my favorite bookstore. I am really happy that I had the chance to explore different areas of Paris. I was in the Madeleine area yesterday while staying at Hotel Chavanel and today I’m not too far away in the 9th Arrondissement at Hotel Adele & Jules. It’s so supremely cute and quiet in this area and just close enough to walk to the Canal. One of the major places I was excited to visit in this area is Passage Jouffroy, which is a mere 5 minute walk from Hotel Adele & Jules. Paris is filled with different passages the house many different stores. I was taken with this passage when I discovered they had a really awesome bookstore as well as mesmerizing architecture.
