A few weeks ago I went to a party brunch at this spot called Sons of Essex in New York City. On some Saturdays they basically have a brunch followed by a DJ’d party for a few hours. It’s a pretty good time if you enjoy a strong drink before 5pm and dancing on couches. Anywho, I went with a group of friends and we really enjoyed ourselves. I finally got to break out this striped skirt that I snagged at the Derek Lam Sample Sale.
I love this fuzzy top from Missguided. I swear people were petting me all evening! I had such a great time at the party brunch (although we just came for the party, not the brunch), so after my friends and I were starving and that’s when I stumbled onto Mecca, better known as Seoul Chicken. I was near death when I smelled the delish smell of freshly fried chicken. I walked in and seriously asked the waiter which type of chicken was the most requested and he told me the salt and pepper. So I ordered a box and my friend and I sat in the corner not speaking as we devoured 20 chicken wings in about 5 minutes flat.
Good times. Good times.
