I didn’t own many camel colored pieces in my wardrobe until recently. I used to think the color to closely matched my skin tone and it would wash me out. But after a recent shopping extravaganza at the Derek Lam Sample Sale, I came away with more camel than anything else.

My addiction with camel first began with these boots. I needed a nice knee high neutral boot and this one from Zara fit the bill. I also love that the heel is the same color as the shoe. I’m starting to develop some kind of weird complex about that. But thats just another weird thing about me. Can you believe this year has less than 30 days left in in?!? I’m wrecking my brain trying to find the perfect New Years Eve Dress and also the perfect party to dance the night away. I already have reservations with my 5 great friends at Hillstone (my favorite if not THEE BEST) restaurant in New York City. I’m also excited because in 2 days the ELLE magazine UK edition drops and I’M IN IT! It’s something I worked on during New York Fashion Week so I’m stoked about it. Is it weird that this is the second time for me to be featured in a magazine, where Kim K. is on the cover?
Now that it’s December, I have some awesome Holiday giveaways in store for you all so stay tuned!

Hi Monroe, I love this look. The colors are warm and inviting. Thanks for your style influence.
Love the cut of that skirt. And Camel most certainly does not wash you out. I hope you’re having a great week, lady!
