so i am definitely back on the Forever 21 bandwagon. Although Zara and Top Shop have taken over my life via internet stalking their sites I dont have too many pieces from either but a slew of
Forever 21.
It’s budget friendly but you still have to shop careful so that something doesn’t shrink after one wash.
this dress is aother great find…lightweight material and an earthy spring tone.
Dress: Forever 21 | Bag: Vintage from Brooklyn Flea Market | Belt: Michael Kors via Century 21
Shoes: DVF Opal Wedge via Nordstroms Rack
I have had this Michael Kors Belt for some months before finally finding something to pair it with. I love the mismatch of it. The belt adds a little more glamour to the otherwise plain dress. I actually think the colors are a good match too. This purse is my favorite in my entire collection. i love it because its super unique and so old. I doubt I’d ever see it anywhere else. thats the beauty of vintage.
do you find yourself shopping at one store over another and why?
i want to shop more at Zara and Top Shop but only buy an item i really love and have to have because its higher priced than H&M and Forever 21 but it does last longer.

love the bag!!
Although I don’t wear anything from F21 (they don’t make menswear), everything I’ve heard about their business model makes me never feel ethically okay with supporting them.
Zara is cool.
I’ve never even been inside a Top Shop…
Oooh that dress is gorgeous

I love those shoes! Forever21 is definitely hit or miss when it comes to quality. Zara is definitely one of those stores I hope to gradually build my closet from.
So pretty!Love the dress!

That dress is cool, I’m partial to shirt dresses.
The only problem I have with shopping at the stores you mentioned, mainly H&M and Zara is everyone ends up having the same pieces. I don’t like looking like everyone else, so I tend to steer clear of patterns from those stores. Forever 21 at least has a bigger selection and the odds of someone else buying your piece is lower.
I don’t shop at F21, ever. I hate the quality, but i understand if you’re on a budget, you would shop there. Plus, all of their stores are huge. H&M, to me, is on the same level as F21, quality wise. It has changed ALOT in the last 5 years.
I used to shop at Zara alot, but ever since it went online, i rarely step into the store. If I do, I always end up buying some accessories. Their shoes are really on point. One thing I love about Zara is that the quality is good and the fit is great. Worth the money IMO.
I haven’t shopped in Topshop for regular items since I was at college in London. It’s definitely alot better there. Now, I only shop at Topshop when they have the designer collabos because I love British designers (picked up Mary Katrantzou back in Feb that is to die for).
