It’s been a good while since I’ve shared my favorites when it comes to fashion, beauty/skincare and lifestyle products so I thought I’d do it blog post style. This is a list of everything I’m loving right now and if you’re similar you will probably love these things too. I’ve even included what I’m watching and listening too these days since you all seem to be pretty interested in that as well. SKINCARE & BEAUTY PRODUCTS
I’ve really been getting into my skincare and I’m still using the Herbivore Charcoal Detoxifying soap to help with body acne and blemishes. When it comes to combating hyperpigmentation on my face I’m using a combination of Neutrogena Rapid Tone Repair 20% Vitamin C Serum and Hyperclear Vitamin C Serum. I’m also loving Fenty Beauty Sun Stalk’r Instant Earth Bronzer in Coco Naughty that I use as a contour. For my hair, I’m loving Moroccan Oil Treatment to give my hair a boost of shine.
AROUND THE HOUSE
It’s getting colder here in New York City and I love a good cozy throw to stay warm. I’ve also started using my 15 pound weighted blanket again for a deeper more cozy sleep. It does wonders for my tension anxiety. I’ve also taken to ordering my favorite candles for the Fall Season, which are the Diptyque Fig Candles. I also racked up on P.F. Candle Co Teakwood and Tobacco Reed Diffusers and Room Linen Spray. I’ve been doing a lot more cooking at home so I invested in a sleek new black cutting board from CB2 as well as some new bowls, plates and mugs that are more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
WHAT I’M LISTENING TO & WATCHING
A lot of you are very interested in my musical choices so I did create a playlist of my favorite Soca & Afro Beats songs that you can check out here. But lately I’ve been loving very sultry music or instrumental songs. Definitely check out Ike Slimster’s latest album here if you like instrumentals. I can literally put on his latest release Everything is Fine and power through emails and work. A few other songs I’ve discovered on YouTube include: Last Dream by Jones Meadow, Lights Go Down by Duce Haus, I Thought You Are the Right One by Susie D7 and Feel It Too by Tainy.
When it comes to what I’m watching, I’m currently loving LoveCraft. It is everything! I also love binge watching Fixer Upper on Hulu and International House Hunters. I’m pretty basic.
Fashion’s I’m Buying
I’ve been shopping like a crazy person. I’m definitely reeling it in though. I’m really into sweater dresses and wrap dresses, so I purchased this one in 3 colors and have been living in them. I also bought this pair of white Gia Couture Tall Chunky Boots and can’t decide if I love them or should send them back. Then there’s my new Balmain Bag that I have only featured in an Instagram post yesterday. It’s perfection. I’ve had it for a few weeks and I’m smitten with it. Stay tuned for a detailed review on YouTube soon. Oh speaking of boots, I also scored these Ash chunky boots from Farfetch and these stunning Jacquemus earrings that I’m gonna be wearing with everything.
