In my last post you all got a glimpse of unique non-basic dresses to consider for the Holiday Season but now I want to focus solely on New Years. If you’re anything like me, you’ve previously spent the first 3 weeks of December frantically looking at every website known to man trying to find the perfect, flattering, jaw dropping, dress of all time. Hell, there are times I’ve bought 3 dresses and had to narrow it down because I was so indecisive and determined to make a lasting impression. After all, you have to enter the New Year looking effortlessly chic right, or else you’ll spend the entire year looking like crazy. Okay, Okay, I don’t necessarily believe that but I don’t need anymore bad mojo carrying over from 2018 into 2019. Last year I bought this ASOS Sequin number that was amazing but heavy as hell and torture to get off and on, this Velvet + Sequin number from Zara that I quickly nixed because…it’s ZARA! I was certain at least 5 other broads would show up in the same dress and that just wasn’t an option for me. And last was this quaint and unassuming sheath dress that I ended up wearing. It was elegant and allowed me to wobble without a care in the world. It really depends on what kind of event you’re attending on New Years Eve as to exactly what type of dress would be the most appropriate but I’d say cocktail attire works for every situation. It’s always better to be overdressed. Here are a few of my Picks for New Years Eve Dresses that will elevate you from being a snack to an entry. Hurry because a lot of these dresses are on sale 50-60% Off and who knows how long that will last!
