The Latest “It” Print — Fruits and Vegetables

I’m actually not too big on prints. I don’t know why, I just love a good solid color. But this summer my love for prints awakened (pretty recently actually). There was this print floral printed shirt from Zara that I loved and this equally amazing floral print skirt from & Other Stories too (both currently on sale!!!). These were both purchases made after I saw a woman rocking a vintage Betsey Johnson Fruit Print Dress a few weeks ago. It was just the perfect early 90’s thin strapped slip dress. Something you would see Carrie Bradshaw traipsing around New York City wearing (Season 2 of course). So I started my hunt to find that dress. Vintage is so rare. I scoured all my vintage go-to’s for fruit printed dresses: ASOS Market Place, Etsy, eBay, Tradesy and The Real Real. I came up empty handed but damnit if I was determined to find a fruit print dress. And just like that Instagram blessed me.

Yes, I was scrolling through Instagram when thee most perfect fruit dressed came across my timeline. It was one of those Instagram advertisements and I never swiped up so quickly (I literally almost dropped my phone)! The brand is called Never Fully Dressed and I’m obsessed with all their prints. It’s based in the UK. I ordered my dress and it came in less than two weeks. I’m so happy with it too.  I got so many compliments on this dress this past weekend when I wore it to the Purewow in the Hamptons Party! Did you catch the party on my Instastories? Honestly, I love the Hamptons mainly because I love the beach and being near water. For some reason, I just feel super calm and at peace when I’m near water. A lot of people ask me about this hat too. It was literally $5 at a vendor in the main town of Tulum, Mexico. I listed a few similar above. If you’re looking into delving into more prints of course you can stick with the basic florals (but add a little something by punching up the colors). And if you wanna jump on the fruit and veggie prints bandwagon head here  for a healthy feast for your eyes.

PS. I mean, avocados are alright. I LOVES GUACAMOLE. But meh…just regular avocado? Nah. I need some lime or lemon juice and a little salt, pepper and olive oil to make it go down smooth. But it looks cute on a dress.
