Holiday Hangover

IMG_0281

The Holiday’s are over and I’m still recovering. January in usually a month of rest for me. I spent Christmas and New Years with my boyfriend. I went home to visit my family the first weekend in January. My brother turned 30 and had a pretty epic party. I started a new work schedule, and finally finished up my Fashion Steele NYC 2015 Magazine! It’s been a very busy and productive last 2 weeks and now I’m ready to jump back in the swing of things. I’ve already been asked a few times if I’m doing New York Fashion Week in February and the answer is a resounding NO. If you had a chance to check out my 2015 Review Magazine, you know why. So these Proenza Schouler Mules were my Christmas Gift to myself. They added just a sprinkle of whimsy to the outfit I wore to an intimate Holiday party.

Mules are one of 2015/2016 trends I fully plan on exploiting this year. Spring and Fall are the perfect seasons for a great mule and I was blown away when I first laid eyes on these Proenza Schouler Mules. Months later and with Sale Season last month and coupons, I was able to snag them for 75% off from Moda Operandi, which was pretty incredible. I am set on reworking my entire closet this year and got rid of about 50% of my wardrobe. It feels freeing and I feel lighter just by decluttering and starting the year off with a fresh fashion slate with a few of my unique staples and classic basics. I’ve also been checking out sites to see what the upcoming trends will be like for the year from vacation wear (yes I’m already thinking of my next vacation) to handbags and occasion dresses (for all the weddings I will be attending this year). It seems in the last 2-3 months  a lot of my close friends have gotten engaged and or/married and this year I have a ton of weddings to attend.

I hope you all had an awesome Holiday Season, and are gearing up to make the best of this New Year.

xx
