This dress has been practically everywhere because it’s the perfect denim dress. Currently it’s on sale just about everywhere, including here. What I love most about it is it’s versatility. It can be dressed up with heels, and down with a pair of high top chucks. It can go seamlessly from day to night, and it’s the perfect transition piece into Fall. Once the cooler temperatures set in, it can be worn as an oversized jacket, over your favorite slinky body clinging dress, or over a pair of your favorite Fall leggings. I’m gearing up for fashion week and it already seems pretty daunting. Since I’m working a full time job now, the most I can cover is about 3 days, which in itself is a massive amount of work. I love the thrill of the lights dimming, the music starting and seeing all that Spring/Summer 2016 will have to offer. But what I like best is reporting it all, discovering new designers and finding the trends of next year that are already in my closet. The best thing for me about fashion week is the overwhelming inspiration it fills me with. It inspires me to write better and to go inside my own wardrobe and create something new. I get so many outfit ideas and a rush of creative energy. It’s also a wonderful time to converse with people with the same passion and make plans for future projects and collaborations. Fashion Week is homecoming for fashion friends. It’s an exciting and exhausting time but I’m looking forward to what’s ahead in the coming days, and you can always get your fill of fashion week right here!
