A little drama never hurt anyone especially when it comes to dressing. Hell, Leandra Medine of the blog The Man Repeller made an entire brand from wearing the most absurdly beautiful yet dramatic outfits. I’ve always craved a little drama especially when it comes to footwear and hats. I am just now getting used to dramatic pieces within my wardrobe such as this intricate Ellery Skirt and this Cameo Top. I am definitely looking to add more unique pieces with a dramatic flare to my wardrobe. I saw this L’agence skirt on ShopBop and had to have it. It’s perfect for a night out and the slit is just the right height to add a little drama. I love a classic look with a spin and this take on the classic pencil skirt fit the bill. Speaking of drama I am now entranced with designers and brands such as Rosie Assoulin, Johanna Ortiz and Ellery who all have a hand in the big, dramatic oversized yet structured fashion that I crave.

Speaking of a little drama..I like a whole lot of drama in what happens south of my ankles. These shoes are a pair of my favorite Alexander Wangs and my collection is steadily growing but these were the closest thing I could get to the shoes that I really wanted, The One’s That Got Away from me in 2012. Well let me tell you.. I finally got my hands on The Bianca’s. The magical Alexander Wang snake skin fish tale shoe that I have craved since totally missing out on them 3 years ago. I couldn’t be more thrilled! It was a waiting game. I basically stalked Ebay and The Real Real everyday for about 2.5 years and lo and behold this Saturday..there they were. The rest is history. They are on their way to my closet right now. Now if I could just get my hands on those Fabiana’s with the fur…my life will be made and they can bury me with my shoes.
