MFW: Day 3 Style Diary

Today I went with an oldie but a goodie. A vintage DVF jumper I found on ebay a few years ago for about $20..fashion STEELE! Today started early with the Massimo Rebecchi collection. The show was at 9am and the PR was thoughtful enough to provide coffee and delish pastries as we waited to be seated. The show was colorful and fun. Afterward I made my way to the shuttle to carry me back to the Duomo which is really close to the Fashion Hub or the Lincoln Center of Milan Fashion Week. Unfortunately the shuttle wasn’t going to the Duomo at all..but venturing 45+ minutes to the Marni show. I debated about going and crashing but decided against it. I changed into my fast flats (Lord knows my feet are killing me and all I want is an Italian boyfriend to whisper sweet nothings to me while rubbing my feet..but I digress). I walked right into a flea market! I swear I always find the thrifts of every city. It was an open air flea with lots of vintage bags and clothing. I didn’t buy anything but it was nice to be amongst vintage things.

After walking around I met Jade at the Duomo rooftop where we had a little impromptu photo shoot. The view simply is breathtaking up there and you can see Milan as far as the eye can see. After taking in the sights we made our way to the John Richmond fashion show..and boy oh boy..this was THEE SHOW of SHOWS! The venue was stunning. The paps were in full force and the glamourati were dressed to the nines. Jade will definitely get a streetstyle post out to you all soon so you can see just what I mean. The show was rockstar chic with an endless black lacquered runway and complete with a model who nearly fell twice and was cheered on when she didn’t.

All in all today was a great day. Milan Fashion Week has come to a close for me. I’m heading out in the morning to Cinque Terre, Italy for a few days of rest and relaxation before heading to Paris for Paris Fashion Week.
