NYFW: HONOR S/S 2015

HONOR

I am a huge Honor fan. Designer Giovanna Randall always stays true to her aesthetic.  Her designs are always very well tailored, whimsical with a quirky element here and there. This collection was perfectly in sync with her previous SS2014 collection as well. What Randall does so effortlessly is whimsy and almost fairytale like pieces. Those are the ones that always catch my eye. My favorites this season were definitely the more flowy fabric pieces such as the white ruffle tier dress that I completely fell in love with on sight. And who knew that bell bottoms in a fabric other than denim might be making a comeback.

Theres a little bit of mod going on deep within this collection. It’s really brought out by the make up and finger nails if you pay close attention. Then theres the bell bottoms and the bell sleeved dresses. There was definitely a nod to the mod times with this collection. I could totally see Twiggy wearing all of it during her day.
