Bloggers in the NEWS
Well well well someone in Australia isn’t happy about fashion bloggers and their sense of entitlement. I am a huge fan of FELLT the website that showcases Australian Bloggers and Journalist. It’s kind of like the Now Manifest of Australia. Now Manifest is the hub for bloggers such as Bryan Boy, Fashion Toast, Sea of Shoes, Anna Dello Russo and Mr. Blasberg. I first learned of FELLT when two of my favorite bloggers Margaret Zhang of Shine By Three and Nicole Warne of Gary Pepper Vintage joined the network in March of 2012. Anywho I heard through the blogger grapevine that Nicole left FELLT and signed the first ever blogger contract with IMG. I am really invested in her blog, I followed it back when it was just a vintage shop and she sold cute vintage dresses. So I wanted to know what exactly went down. So I like any good researcher googled: Nicole Warne left FELLT and up pops this article by Frockwriter, Patty Huntington, who also writes for FELLT. Thats when all the shit hit the fan. I just couldn’t stop reading. I devoured that article in mere minutes along with all the comments as well.
Then I made my way over to the IMG website to see just who they represented that I read and none other than Natalie Joos (my style maven who I stalk every fashion week) and Nicole Warne are right up there in Special Bookings right next to the likes of Julianne Moore and Venus Williams. Natalie also does styling and casting. Next Management in New York also represents blogger such as Andy Torres of Style Scrapbook and Chiara Ferragne of The Blonde Salad. I mean really this blogger stuff just doesn’t get any better. It’s interesting to see how the whole industry in opening up to bloggers. I’m sure those who make it that far will be far and few between but its cool to see what these bloggers have done.
The PHOTOSHOP SAGA
Is it me or is it craziness all over the internet today. Well here’s what I’ve been reading. There is the video floating around all about photoshop and what really goes on behind the scenes with editing photos with photoshop. I don’t have photoshop and don’t know how to use it but my goodness this video was insane. I mean they can really really change the way someone looks. I first caught wind of this story via Huffington Post.
I mean wow. I do admit the makeup also made a huge difference but geesh. I’m all for editing out a pimple or changing the lightening in a photo but this is just a bit much. I wonder if there are any bloggers out there who use photoshop to this extent.

I will definitely be hitting up that Tibi sale. I have to get my hands on one of those midi full skirts that I’ve been seeing everywhere. I especially love this one that one of my favorite blogger Man Repeller wore not to long ago.
So what have you been reading on the internet?
