It’s time to break out your swimwear and make a bee-line to the closest beach or pool near you. Fire up the grill and throw on some burgers and hotdogs or grilled veggies. It’s one of my favorite times of the year, Independence Day! No… I don’t love it for the reason that it celebrates and you know why, I’m in it strictly for the day off work, the food and the Everyday Afrique Party I’ve attended for the past 2 years. It’s always a moment and makes me love living in New York City every single year. Anywho, y’all know the sales are in full swing and you just got paid. So if you’re looking for a few ways to spend some of your hard earned dollars then look no further. Here’s a few of the best Independence Day Sales and my picks from each.

Urban Outfitters Sale

UO is having an extra 40% Off Sale Items and practically giving stuff away for free. This is the first sale you should hit up! Go for their intimates and lounge wear and stock up on all the bralette tops (currently $9)! Then head over to everything else because it’s all so good, especially if you’re loving the 90’s trends. Hurry though because all the good stuff is selling out quick!

Net-a-Porter

This sale is still going strong and yesterday they had an additional 15% Off Flash Sale. Hope y’all didn’t miss it. But just in case you did go ahead and subscribe to their newsletter so you don’t miss out next time. I’d head straight for the skirts, swimsuits and sandals to hold you over through the Summer.

Mango Sale

Mango has some of the best quality pieces and their sale is up to 50% Off and of course it’s good. I’d head straight for their Summer dresses and exquisite array of outerwear from chic oversized linen blazers to trench coats for Fall. I’m also loving all their cycling shorts in muted warm colors. If you’re all about neutrals this Summer then this sale is for you with tons of whites, tans and warm browns.

Nine West Sale

Yes, Nine West! They are really stepping their design game up and I’ve been loving their pumps and sandals lately. That have tons of shoes from $30 and up and a Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off July 4th Sale. Oh and don’t forget to sign up for their newsletter for an additional 15% Off to use!

Saks Fifth Avenue

Don’t be alarmed. When I put a store like Saks Fifth Avenue on the list, those who are penny pinchers tend to skip right over it. But sis, or bro or non binary — you’re doing yourself a disservice because the deals are GOODT. They are having an up to 75% Off Everything Sale! So if you’ve been craving designer pieces for the low this is the sale for you! I recently got a Jacquemus skirt for $77 and a top for $59 for price references.
