I’m getting married

[one_half padding=”0 15px 0 0″]When I was 10 or so years old, I ran away from home. I remember it vividly. That morning before school my mom put my hair in two cornrows, one on each side of my head (my least favorite design and my mom is super talented with cornrow work). I guess she was pressed for time but I was extra salty and big mad. Then she had the audacity to make my LEAST favorite meal for breakfast; oatmeal. At that time I did NOT like the consistency of oatmeal. It always made me want to gag. The last straw was when she took a slab of vaseline and slathered it all over my face. Nothing could be worse. I don’t even remember what ensued next but I packed a bag.[/one_half] [one_half_last padding=”0 0 0 15px”]It consisted of a teddy bear and some trinkets and in Charlie Brown fashion, I tied it to a stick and I left the neighborhood. I made my way down this long road that I always wanted to go down. That long road was always a mystery to me. I dreamed of the day I would be old enough to see what was down there. I barely made it a mile before my Dad rolled up in our green mini van and told me to get my narrow black ass in or my ass was grass. When it was time for the choice between punishment and a whooping, I always chose the whooping. Hey, it only lasts 5 minutes and I could go play right after. Needless to say, I’ve always done things my own way.[/one_half_last]

Susan Miller, the famed astrologist whom I’ve been following closely for the past year has told me over and over (via my Taurus horoscope), that I’m soon getting engaged, married or embarking on a life long partnership. I have been manifesting and waiting so patiently. But after reading my March horoscope which specifically states:

“Jupiter is in your house of marriage, and Neptune is in your house of hopes and wishes – this is as special as it looks to you, reading this. Mercury will also be trine Jupiter, making this an ideal time to wed, for marriage is a contract, and Mercury rules all serious, binding promises.”

I think I finally realized what the hell Susan is telling me. This month, out the gate, has been one of my most creative ever. I have never had so many ideas. I go to sleep with ideas. I have epiphanies while I’m peeing. I take hour long showers because I end up just thinking in there (don’t worry I still manage to wash the important bits). Sometimes it’s a little stressful, but I just keep a pad and paper to write everything down close by or on me at all times. This month, beloveds, as Spring awakens the world tomorrow, I am marrying my blog. Sike, I’ve been married to this thing for years, but honestly I’ve never been more dedicated and more in love with it than I am right now. I even dropped my first newsletter (after sitting on an email list for 7 years!). Kudos if you got the newsletter (and all the goods that came with it including the giveaway). Don’t worry another one drops in 2 weeks so you still have time to subscribe. It’s me and you beloveds, till the end of time.

Oh and make sure to check out my new InstaStories Pro ebook (2 days in and over 30+ copies sold! Don’t get left behind.)

P.S. Last night I also dreamt I was very pregnant and after looking up what that means, I’m definitely marrying my blog.

xx
