Ladies and Gents, my brain is fried. I literally sat here for half an hour thinking of something clever to write to go with this blog post. Mainly I’m thinking about how sad I am that my Blue Apron box wasn’t delivered yesterday then canceled and that I won’t have my meals for the week. I feel gross because the super is doing work on the pipes in my building and I can’t take my after work shower. I am also hot but refuse to turn on my air conditioner because my Coned bill is rapidly approaching “No Money Left for Shoes” status. But other than those things, I cannot complain. Life is good and my hair has fully cooperated with my demands the past week. Did you check out my latest video on YouTube? That’s right, I’m back! Although this latest video is all about my afro and nothing about the fashions. But don’t worry, the fashions are coming back soon to my channel. As soon as I get a videographer and a moment.

I’m had so much fun this weekend. I pretty much danced around my living room all day Saturday and then went to a pretty rocking day party on Sunday. I really thought I’d gotten out of the party scene. I have for the most part. Don’t ask me to go to a club at night. Unless it’s New Years or mine or a close friends birthday, it’s not happening. I’d rather spend my nights watching Snapped and old episodes of 30 Rock while deep conditioning and then twisting my hair. Night time, is not the right time for me. I’ve become a night time hermit. Preferring the dim light of my kindle at night than a moonlit walk. But ahhh, a day party. A perfect excuse to drink before 5pm and you still have daylight!
The writing in this post has little or nothing to do with this business casual look. But thats ok. I hope you enjoyed it nonetheless. Speaking of which, my power color is green. Whenever I have a job interview I always always wear green. I always get the job too. Maybe it’s all in my mind, but I feel super professional in green. In 3 years I talked myself into a 10K then 15K and finally a 30K raise wearing a green shirt I got at Express each time 🙂
