An Express Spring in New York City

IMG_8562

This past weekend was the first day the weather crept above 70+ degrees. It was amazing. It was the first day in New York where you could officially go without a jacket and the sun felt amazing on my skin. The flowers are blooming and on an early Sunday morning people were out in full force along Washington Square Park and New York University campus. It’s a wonderful place to people watch and check out trendy shops for your weekly flowers, vintage finds and delicious ramen. Spring in New York barely last 2 weeks. It’s always a pretty express season and quickly changes into Summer. This year is much different. Spring looks like it’s actually decided to stay awhile. So I decided to take this edgy Express spring dress for a spin around the neighborhood.

GET THE LOOK

I am officially obsessed with anything off the shoulder. I’m so sorry but that may be the only kind of top you see on me for the rest of the year. I seriously cannot help myself from buying them in mass quantities. Along with stalking every site online from Topshop, to ASOS and Express for off the shoulder tops and spring dresses, I have been scouring the internet for the perfect swimsuit. I have my eye on a lovely Lisa Marie Fernandez bathing suit, which I really need to go on sale. I’m getting more and more excited by the day to get out of New York and onto South Beach.

Check it out for NYC fashion events, shopping excursions and just a double dose of me being me
