I sometimes forget the awesome clothes and accessories I already own, while I’m busy lusting after new items to add to my closet. These amazing Alexander Wang Aminata sandals were a gift to myself on my 29th birthday. These awesome Phillip Lim culottes were a find during a Century 21 shopping binge. There are so many pieces in my wardrobe that I love and it’s great to rediscover them and also find new ways to wear them.

I’m so excited for the weekend. If you’ve been checking out my Instagram and Snapchat ( @monroesteele) you’d have seen me bouncing all around Brooklyn last weekend. I had a ball visiting the water front. It’s so lovely and serene with little hidden passageways through foliage and out into grassy meadows to where you can take in the river and the boats. My boyfriend and I spent the day roaming the beautiful streets of Dumbo and Brooklyn Heights. I would definitely recommend it on a summer day.
