Another Thrifting Adventure: Valley Thrift Shop

I had a doctors appointment the other day and luckily its right around the corner from Valley Thrift Shop. I actually discovered this little gem about 3 years ago when I was doing my clinical affiliations for graduate school at NYU. On my lunch break I’d pop in and shop till I dropped!

They have a really amazing coat collection, especially vintage trench coats and jackets with fur accents.

The space is small and cramped for clothing but its definitely worth looking through every last rack! Just look below to see why!
I scored this amazing vintage dress for only $5 yes…$5. I will debut it in an outfit post soon so be on the look out for my Valley Thrift fashion STEELE!!!! Do you see the bottom of the dress???Ahh love!

I ended up getting 3 pieces including the deep burgundy dress for $16. Be on the look out for my other 2 purchases from this amazing little gem! Thifting is so fun but you have to be patient and you are not going to find great deals every time but you will save tons of money for great fashion.
What do you all think of the dress. Oh I can’t wait to wear it. I have the perfect occasion for it as well.

Part of my problem with thrifting is the patience it entails. My first time out this year, I scored some amazing finds but then when I went back a couple of times nothing! I guess thems the breaks! I like the wrap dress…can’t wait to see how you style it. Unfort. now, I won’t be able to make your Blogger’s meeting. Hope you have another one soon and I’ll be sure to be there!
