Cozy street of Vintage, Thrift and Art: A girls dream

Yesterday I did a ton of thrift shopping. I stopped by 3 great places..all on the same block and right around the corner where I had the delicious Mac-n-Cheese spring rolls the other day. It’s 17th St between 6 and 7th Ave in NYC. This little cozy street boast 3 vintage/thrift stores and an awesome museum The Rubin. If you are in the area you should check this street out especially if you love thrifting and vintage! First off, I stopped at Housing Works. Now usually I frequent the one on 23rd St. But the one on 17th Street was equally awesome!

Loved this green parka..only $20 bucks!

This chair is so unique but was a little out of my price range but still its so gorgeous!

So many ways I could color block this blazer! When I saw it I thought of all the color block Gucci ads I’ve been seeing everywhere including on Katy Perry on the cover of ELLE.

I actually ended up purchasing this bag! It would be perfect for the Spring and Summer.

So far I’ve visited 3 of the Housing Works Thrift Stores in NYC. Check out the other stores posts HERE and HERE!!!!
Next up, I visited Angel Street Vintage. I’ve been here a few times before. They have a better furniture collection than clothes and accessories. I do love how they did their window display though.
Lastly I went to Pippin Vintage but it was just too amazing and I have to post all the photos in another post! Stay tuned because if you love vintage hats, rings, necklaces, and the like you will love my post on Pippin! So this was how I spent my Valentine’s Day. I thrift shopped till I dropped and also scored some great things at Loehmanns that I will share later.
How funny I saw Bethenny Frankel at Loehmanns with her husband and baby Sunday afternoon. After thrifting I had a great lunch at Cafetasia one of my favorite thai restaurants. My meal was only $9 for pad thai, spring rolls with pinapple sauce and a thai tea! Yummy! After lunch I got a much needed pedicure with an extra foot massage because fashion week stilettos are killing my feet.
So what did you all do for V-day???
XOXO

I love the green parka too. I just saw one like it in a store for (I kid you not) $695!!! And I knew I would never pay that much! But as soon as fashion week is over I will go shopping on 17th Street.
